Through their creative efforts to improve education, this year’s six alumni winners – Justin Patrick, Maria Rogers, Shijing Xu, John Dias, Cindy Sinclair and Erin Finley – have been recognized for their excellence and leadership in teaching, research and advocacy.

OISE welcomes five new faculty of talented researchers, educators and colleagues including Dr. Brendan Andrade, Dr. Lydia Cao, Angela Easby, Dr. Lore/tta LeMaster, and Dr. Vidya Shah.

For OISE doctoral students Isabel Núñez and John Pierre Craig, it’s a valuable opportunity to engage with global scholars, receive feedback, and contribute to key discussions in their fields.

A collection of poetry published by Professor Emeritus John P. Portelli has been short-listed for a Canadian Book Club Award (CBCA), in the poetry category.
